درباره نویسنده
زَن یک انسان بالغ ماده است. عموماً دختری را که دوران بلوغ و نوجوانی خود را تمام کرده و به سنی که در اکثر فرهنگها و جوامع معمولاً ۱۸ سالگی میباشد برسد را زن گویند اما این تعریف میتواند در هر فرهنگ، جامعه، تمدن یا قانون متفاوت باشد. واژهٔ دختر برای انسان نابالغ ماده و فرزند ماده و گاهی در زبان عامیانه برای زنان جوان به کار برده میشود. در فارسی واژههای «بانو»، «خانم» و در قدیم «خاتون» برای اشاره محترمانه به زن کاربرد دارند. همچنین واژهٔ زن یک نام همگانی برای اشاره به انسان ماده است مانند «حقوق زنان». بهطور معمول یک زن توانایی بارداری و زایش دارد. به زن دارای فرزند مادر گویند.
