درباره نویسنده
رودیگر اشمیت (به آلمانی: Rüdiger Schmitt) زبانشناس و ایرانشناس متولد شهر وورتسبورگ اهل آلمان است. وی در سال ۱۹۵۸ میلادی در دانشگاه وورتسبورگ به تحصیل در رشتهٔ زبانشناسی تطبیقی زبانهای هندواروپایی، هندوایرانی، و زبانشناسی کلاسیک پرداخت.
