He reported this event to his state government representative, at the time Senator Steven Schiff, who launched an immediate investigation. Senator Steven Schiff died before the investigation was complete.

Thomas Castello, a government employee at an underground facility at the Archulets site claimed he witnessed an armed conflict between United States Government forces and Alien Extraterrestrials who were also stationed at the facility. Thomas Castello remained in hiding and on the run in fear of his life till the day he died as a result of what he witnessed.
