جزییات کتاب
In 1868 Colonel Churchward first went to India as a young man. There he met a high priest—a Rishi—in a Temple School Monastery who made available to him some of the ancient tablets in the temple vaults and showed him the simplest interpretation of some of the symbols carved on them. He eventually taught Churchward this new language and introduced him to facts which kindled his imagination and which finally led him to seek for further evidence to complete his knowledge of the earliest of civilisations. His journeys took him to the South Seas, Tibet and parts of Central Asia, the Bulaq Museum in the ancient city of Cairo, to Siberia and the valley of the Lena, to the Urals, New Zealand and the Polynesian Islands, at last finding the missing links to the amazing story he had first discovered years earlier. That story is the story of Mu, of how the civilisation grew, was destroyed and lapsed into savagery out of which our own modern culture has developed. Readers of 'The Lost Continent of Mu' will find complete investigation and documentation of this ancient world, by a man who literally spent his whole life searching for forgotten records for the truth about Mu."
"Churchward makes many mistakes, but his works are interesting reading. His unexacting treatrnent of the Calendar Gate of Tiahuanaco makes one question his sometimes cursory methods."
