کارن صباغی، آهنگساز و نوازنده سهتار متولد ۱۸ تیر ۱۳۵۶ در تهران است.وی از محضر نوازندگان و اساتید نوازندگی سهتار از جمله مهربانو توقیق (کارشناسی سهتار، دانشگاه هنر تهران ۱۳۷۸ تا ۱۳۸۳)، داریوش طلایی و حسین علیزاده بهره جست.در همین دوره صباغی کنسرتهای متعددی را برگزار کرد و همچنین به تدریس هارمونی، مبانی موسیقی و سرایش در کلاسهای آزاد دانشکدۀ موسیقی دانشگاه هنر تهران پرداخت.
