Covering the century from the death of Julius Caesar in 44 BC to that of the emperor Vitellius in AD 69, this volume examines the coinage of more than 400 cities throughout the Roman empire, organized geographically from Spain and Africa in the west to Syria and Egypt in the east. Part I contains the Introduction and Catalogue, while Part II illustrates every major issue listed.
