جزییات کتاب
The 46 phenomena of the Sub/Urban Butoh Fu (things like sidewalks, traffic lights, and water fountains) are both what make up the environment, and each part of your character's psyche, as tracked on their character sheet.
Your character is a spirit made up of these phenomena, physically and mentally. Aside from the phenomena that are included on your character sheet, your only stat is intensity. Intensity represents how strongly your character is experiencing their consciousness. The higher your intensity is, the more dice you get to roll when making an intensity check. Flower Mist is a d6 die pool system. If you let your intensity get too high, you are apt to become possessed, or spawn a demon.
Player characters are either a member of a ruling class of hierarchical city builders called the arborists, or an antihierarchical resistance comprised of spirits who are radically nonattached to their current state of consciousness, called the rhizocrats.
Spirits frequently make things called servitors. Servitors are like robots that are constructed out of Sub/Urban Butoh Fu phenomena. Occultists should be able to read over the game mechanics for servitor construction and understand how to use Sub/Urban Butoh Fu to make servitors within real-world occult practice.
Included are:
Character sheets and descriptions of the personalities of the 46 demons of Sub/Urban Butoh Fu in the GM section of this book. Again practicing occultists should understand how real-world entities of the same sort might be identified or worked with, though this is frequently not the wisest course of action.
Character sheets and descriptions for 42 premade nonplayer characters, to lessen the amount of prep work for the game master.
Rules for randomly generating characters and locations.
Specific fleshed out locations for both arborists and rhizocrats.
A section on how to hack Flower Mist to use other oracle systems instead of Sub/Urban Butoh Fu, such as tarot, runes, or I Ching.
An exploration of scales of perspective, and how to use Sub/Urban Butoh Fu to restructure the way you perceive the world around you.
And more!
