While growing up in New Jersey, science, particularly fundamental physics, had been Angelucci's greatest interest and most intense study. This preoccupation led him into work with Lockheed Aircraft during the years of WWII and the Korean conflict. The author's studies and practical experience in the field of airplane manufacturing helped, he believed, to produce his unusual writings about outer space, and its various attributes.
