جزییات کتاب
The technical progress of the 20th century has led to revolutionary changes in the world of commerce, which have proceeded at an increasingly fast pace since the end of the Second World War. Trade has become internationalized. The container and, later, the computer have made many long-established business routines obsolete and required the creation of new ones. Today's businessmen must be equipped with a knowledge of economics, finance, law and technology in order to be able to make the right decisions. This work is an attempt to reflect the complexity of modern commerce. Terms have been selected from a wide range of fields, including economics, finance, banking, stock-broking, customs procedures, and shipping. Account has also been taken of the fact that not all countries in the world are at the same level of development and so a number of older terms relating to customs procedures and piece-goods shipping procedures have been retained. Unlike the majority of such works, this book includes Swedish equivalents as an acknowledgement of the importance of the Nordic countries in world trade
