جزییات کتاب
In this first part of Volume 3 in the series Advances in CAD for VLSI, circuit analysis, simulation and design are analyzed and discussed at the detailed transistor level. The algorithms and programs involved in VLSI design are now undergoing major change, helping to improve the productivity of CAD tools. With the large scale aspect of VLSI now requiring a reorientation towards new and more efficient techniques, a re-evaluation of the relative success of various algorithms has proven necessary. The book concentrates on these latest developments and techniques in circuit analysis algorithms, which comprise approaches used in general purpose programs like SPICE and ASTAP. The majority of techniques introduced are now being implemented in VLSI CAD tools, with experimental methods currently in the research stage also receiving attention. All examples are written in Pascal style, and the notation has been kept uniform throughout. All authors have extensive experience in their respective subject areas.
