That's the only word to describe it.
I have not read the book, and I do not plan to. But a book written by a member of a previous generation criticizing members of the newest one seems to be a plan destined for ceaseless argument.
Every decade and every generation has it's problems of it's own, and it is also not surprising short-sighted people will report these problems with criticism. We all know the phrase "history repeats itself". I wouldn't be surprised if, 50 years from now, I am writing a book criticizing the day's youngsters simply because I have become an older person who cannot adjust towards new ideas and concepts. I'm 15.
This book is categorized as "pop culture". Probably because nobody will bother to take a look at it again in the near future.
