Published by the American Geophysical Union as part of the Lecture Notes on Coastal and Estuarine Studies Series, Volume 25.This volume represents a collection of pioneering papers introducing immunochemical techniques to the aquatic sciences. It is the product of a workshop entitled ''Immunochemical Approaches to Coastal, Estuarine and Oceanographic Questions'' held at the University of Southern Maine, Portland, Oct. 5-7, 1986.
